Format

12 teams play in three groups. Based on group results, teams then split into two divisions: Gold (top 8 teams, playing for places 1–8) and Silver (remaining 4 teams, playing for places 9–12).

Gold plays knockout-style, with a match for each placement. Silver plays a round-robin among themselves (everyone plays everyone), and final places 9–12 are decided by the resulting table.
